Mike Rhea is a business broker of the well-known Transact Capital Partners business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in VA and nearest regions. Mike is Vice President and head of the Tidewater office of Transact Capital. His background includes experience in business/real estate brokerage, valuations, and small business lending. As a SBA loan underwriter and originator, Mike has experience working with a wide range of industries, including wholesale distribution, manufacturing, contracting, retail, restaurants, marinas, veterinary clinics, gas stations, golf courses, hotels, etc. Mike’s experience also includes working as a financial analyst for a privately funded, business roll up, consisting of approximately 70 manufacturing, distribution, and contracting companies with $750 million in revenue. Mike was actively involved in the acquisition process, including valuation, due diligence, and integration. Prior to joining Transact Capital, Mike worked as a Purchasing Manager for a subsidiary of an $8 billion, multinational conglomerate where, as part of the Global Supply Chain team, he managed the implementation of several companywide working capital improvement initiatives, which resulted in significant cost reductions and increases in working capital. Mike earned a BA in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from the Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Virginia.
