He entered the real estate business after his military service in the USMC. At the time he was living and working in New Jersey where for the next 25 years he honed his skills in the commercial arena specializing in land development, commercial and industrial sales and leasing. He served his local board of Realtors and the New Jersey Association of Realtors in many capacities as well as President. He also served the National Association of Realtors on many committees over the years and as Regional Vice President for NY, NJ & PA. He achieved the ALC Designation of the Realtors Land Institute, and has served as National President of the Realtors Land Institute. Business In 1989, Dick and his wife Diane moved to Vermont and started their own real estate appraisal business. Diane holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. After a couple of years, Dick decided to specialize in hospitality properties and formed Hospitality Consultants, LLC. He has been listing, selling and consulting to all types of hospitality properties ever since. In spite of an active work schedule, Dick has continued his commitment to the Realtor organization serving as 2012 President of Vermont Commercial and Investment Board of Realtors, and currently as a Director of Vermont Realtors and member of the finance committee. The hospitality business has taken Dick to every corner of the State of Vermont over the years. Even though he has specialized in hospitality properties, he represents other types of real estate from luxury homes, to businesses and land for development. Dick is a private pilot and he and Diane enjoy sailing whenever they have the opportunity.
