Joseph Specht is a business broker of the well-known Four Seasons Sotheby'S Interntaional Realty business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in VT and nearest regions. A realtor since 2004, Joe Specht draws upon his previous professional experiences in ski area management and marketing and sales. Having first come to the Deerfield Valley in 1980 he boasts a wealth of knowledge about the people and places in southern Vermont that he is able to share with newcomers to the area. Joe is an avid cyclist and can sometimes be found scouring the back roads for his next property listing. He was instrumental in founding Deerfield Valley Velo, a bicycling club in the Mount Snow area. As a member of the Whitingham-Halifax Lions he is the chairman of the Hungry Lion Bike Tour, a fundraiser that benefits the Lions’ club annual food drive. When the snow flies Specht hangs up his wheels and will be off dodging trees on either downhill or cross country skis. He has earned professional certification to instruct both disciplines. His wife is the well-known pastel artist, Ann Coleman.
