Prior to establishing the Business Brokerage of San Antonio office with Doug Scheiding, Bob worked for seven years with LexisNexis providing services to the Fortune 500 corporate legal and business development departments. He excelled in the areas of due diligence and client development where he enjoyed working with the acquisition and research departments of major corporations in the Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana areas. From this experience he leads the buyer directed searches. Bob is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Distribution and a minor in Labor Relations. Mr. Howells is an Eagle Scout, and a graduate of Leadership New Braunfels class of 2008. Bob recently earned the CMEA (Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser) certification in 2009. DOUG SCHEIDING - CBI, P.E., CMEA. Doug Scheiding is familiar with the challenges and rewards of small businesses having been an owner of several engineering consulting and software companies. After graduating from Texas A&M University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Doug went to work for a engineering consulting company and helped to grow the company from 3 employees to 19 while in charge of the operations. Before starting the Business Brokerage office in San Antonio, Doug was in charge of worldwide sales for an engineering software product line and assisted in the marketing. Doug has several certifications and licenses including a Professional Engineer (PE) designation in the State of Texas, and a licensed P&C Insurance agent from the Texas Department of Insurance. Doug also recently earned the CMEA (Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser) certification in 2009. Doug looks forward to helping both buyers and sellers of businesses meet their personal, financial, and choice of lifestyle goals.
