Cody Cress is a business broker of the well-known Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Par business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in NC and nearest regions. Cody is a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Sanford in the heart of the state. Cody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1994. Upon graduation, Cody worked in the environmental consulting industry specializing in air emissions from industrial sources. He held various roles from consultant to sales representative to management of a multi-million dollar environmental equipment manufacturer. Cody’s strength is to look at a company from a broad perspective, analyzing every aspect of the business from operations to sales to finance. Why real estate? Passion! Cody’s family history involves the brick industry, beginning with his grandfather. Because he was taught from an early age the value of land and that land must be handled with integrity to preserve it for the future, he has long held an interest in building and developing real estate. Cody began investing in real estate in 1996 and currently holds and manages his own commercial real estate property. Cody’s technical expertise and analytical skills contribute to the goals and needs of his Clients. Cody’s broad experience and knowledge enables him to work with a variety of business, property and transaction types including leases, lease options, joint ventures, exchanges and purchases. Cody has a particular interest in industrial and office properties. This background and specialization has provided his Clients’ successful, fair and efficient transactions in these challenging market conditions. Considering this new economic and business climate, Cody is also adapting his business model and applying his troubleshooting abilities to aid Clients regarding distressed, underperforming and undervalued assets including bank-owned (REO/ORE) commercial properties. In July 2012 Cody was named a Vice President with Sun Coast Partners, LLC.
