Scott Zemens is a business broker of the well-known Re/Max First business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in MI and nearest regions. Scott Zemens first recognized his passion for investing in real estate while attending Oakland University. After college he interned at North Western Mutual focusing on asset allocations and investments. Before joining RE/MAX in 2001, Scott focused on the knowledge of establishing 403B retirement’s funds for nonprofit organizations and studying and analyzing property values. With this he obtained the knowledge of conducting business within the Metro Detroit area. Understanding his drive and goals in life, he knew it was time to practice real estate full time, which presented endless opportunities. His first year in real estate he had an outstanding year with 5 million dollars in completed sales. Additionally he was rated as one of the top five sales agents for the year. He has since helped hundreds of clients buy and/or sell their homes. In 2004 Scott and his partner, Richmond Inger, joined forces and expanded their ventures by starting their own company Fast Cash for Homes LLC whose focus was purchasing small pools of properties from banks. In 2006 with market conditions changing they became one of the largest REO (Real Estate Owned) Agents in Metro Detroit, handling up to 600 homes at a time. They worked with many cities and larger banks, purchasing anywhere 100 to 600 homes a year. Now they are one of the largest purchasers of real estate in the Metropolitan Detroit area. He has an extensive professional background in investing, vacant land, waterfront, move up buying, and most importantly returning profits on investments. During his career, he has assisted thousands of clients with the purchasing and/or selling of their home. From first time home buyers to his educational home buying seminars, his client’s needs are always met. He enjoys his work and looks forward to helping many future clients with all their individual needs. In 2010 Scott went on to further his education in real estate and took the necessary classes to apply for his broker license in the state of Michigan, Now becoming the second associate broker at RE/MAX Acclaim. In 2011 Rich and Scott purchased the first ever bulk property sale from the Macomb County Treasure tax sale; buying over 250 houses at one time. They put their team to work rehabbing, renting and making these homes brand new again, for first time home buyers or renters looking for a new place to live. In 2012 we made some big changes and opened our own brokerage, Global Realty LLC. Today we work with new construction builders, non- profit agencies, cities and counties to help solve their problems. We look forward to new and exciting projects that allow our team to work together and show the differences between one agent and a team of agents working together.
