Richard Roberts is a business broker of the well-known Aegis Business Brokers business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in AR and nearest regions. Richard has always been entrepreneurial starting early with paper routes, creating and running snow shoveling and grass cutting crews, selling greeting cards, magazine subscriptions, car waxing, bicycle repair, etc. He started his first full time business at the age of 22 and has been in the “Main Street” small business arena as business owner, seller, consultant and business broker ever since. You will find he can easily relate to you and your business and has the ability to quickly grasp and analyze business models and conditions. He has been an avid volunteer serving as an SBA/SCORE Certified Mentor, Co-Mentor for special cases for the ASBTDC, Volunteer Mentoring for BNI Members in Northwest Arkansas and Volunteer court ordered Mediator for small claims courts specializing in small business disputes. Richard has extensive Business Brokerage training & experience from two national business broker franchises that he worked for. He has completed transactions from $50,000-$1,725,000 in a wide range of business models including manufacturing, restaurants, internet based businesses, construction trades, exercise/self-development, automotive and retail. He continues to receive ongoing training from the ABBA American Business Brokers Association where he received an ABI Accredited Business Intermediary rating and the IBBA International Business Brokers where he is an active member. He has built a large network of Business Brokers, Commercial Lenders, SBA Lenders, Business Buyers and Business Sellers over the years. Richard's home town is Chicago which he left in 2010 to move to Fayetteville Arkansas. His mother was born in Biscoe, Arkansas and he has family scattered throughout Pope County.
