Christy Battiato, M.S., CWPAfter Christy graduated from CU-Boulder (1990) with a masters in wellness program development and sports psychology, Christy spent her first few years developing and implementing various wellness programs in the Phoenix metropolitan area before going to work for her father in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she joined his leading business school for dentists as the director of the first wellness program for dentists. She served as director for over eight years before helping her husband launch his business development company seventeen years ago in Medford, Oregon. Christy understands the business side of health care, and recently, she and her husband moved back to Scottsdale to continue their efforts of serving dentists in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.Now with over twenty-five years experience in the dental/medical industry, Christy’s area of focus is in transition planning/practice sales. Christy brings many years of small business experience to Sunbelt. She is employed by Sunbelt of Arizona as a salesperson helping all types of business owners in the business acquisition process. She is also an independent contractor with Henry Schein, Inc., as their first Practice transition Consultant in Arizona, serving dentists, medical doctors, and veterinarians in the practice acquisition process. Because she understands both the health as well as the business aspects of operating a successful practice, Christy can be relied on to facilitate all aspects of successful business transitions.
