John Poythress is a Irvine business broker of the well-known Generational Equity business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Irvine, CA and nearest regions. John Poythress possesses 25 years of mergers and acquisitions experience with a specialization serving middle-market sized clients in numerous industry sectors. Prior to joining the Generational team in 2005, Mr. Poythress was a Managing Director and group head with Citigroup Geneva Capital Strategies responsible for the professionals who managed a portion of the firm's middle-market transactions in the Western and Southeastern US regions. Mr. Poythress graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Finance from the California State Polytechnic University in 1983 and received an MBA from the California State University in 1986. He is a graduate of Bank of America's Commercial Credit Training Program. John holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses and real estate brokerage licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
