Allan Carmody is a Lake Oswego business broker of the well-known Murphy Business&Financial Corporation business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Lake Oswego, OR and nearest regions. Allan Carmody has had a unique set of experiences which prepared him to be a successful business broker. First, Allan was a runner and competed in cross country and track in high school and college and for many years after college. At the same time he was in a band that performed all over the Pacific Northwest. After college Allan was a public school teacher and coach. One of his runners later ran a four minute mile. Another won 10 individual Oregon state championships. His last year his team won the state championship and Allan was named coach of the year. Allan left the teaching profession and began a career in financial services. He was quickly promoted to sales manager where his job was to recruit, select, hire, train and develop successful sales representatives. During this time Allan introduced seminar selling and developed as a public speaker. When Allan formed his first business networking group it was so successful that he was asked to start more groups. Eventually Allan started hundreds of groups in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Texas, Illinois, and Indiana. This work brought him in close contact with attorneys, doctors, realtors, bankers, contractors, financial services, etc. While forming these groups Allan took note of the business broker industry, He learned that there were few brokers and much opportunity. After a few “hand shake” deals Allan became a full time business broker in 2007. Allan has listed businesses for sale from practically every market category including service companies and manufacturers. Allan brings to bear his unique skills and experiences: runner, performer, teacher, coach, sales, management, master networker, and public speaker. His mission is to help sellers and buyer accomplish their goals.
