Daniel Kemp is a business broker of the well-known Compass Commercial business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in OR and nearest regions. Dan brings over ten years of sales, marketing and management experience to Compass Commercial. He began his career in real estate in 2001 specializing in timeshare and fractional ownership sales. His successful career in the timeshare industry earned him top sales honors with Marriott Vacation Club in Park City, Utah where he achieved Super Sapphire Status and obtained $2.2 million in sales during the course of one year. Dan went on to serve and was recognized as the youngest Regional Marketing Vice President for Wyndham Vacation Ownership running 18 offices in Northern California. As a crowning achievement, his region exceeded over $100 million in sales in 2009. In 2012, Dan broadened his experience and joined Compass Commercial to focus his expertise on investments in apartment buildings, mobile home parks, storage facilities and business opportunities throughout Central Oregon. While new to Compass Commercial, Dan is not new to Central Oregon. A graduate of Sisters High School, Dan joins the Compass team to work with longtime Oregon real estate veteran and father, Bruce Kemp. Dan has always been active in his community, school and church. At the age of 19 years old, from 1998 -2000, Dan served a mission in Puebla, Mexico where he learned to speak Spanish fluently while teaching and serving the Mexican people. Upon returning home in 2000, Dan attended Utah Valley University on a running scholarship where he became an All American Collegiate Athlete. With persistence and dedication he set and held the University’s mile record at 3:53. In 2001, Dan was awarded the Presidential Scholarship for academic achievement along with the Scholastic Athlete of the Year recognition. Dan has a commitment to serve others and give back and looks forward to serving in the community and on boards here in Central Oregon.
