Heather Holding is a Wake Forest business broker of the well-known Murphy Business&Financial Corporation business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Wake Forest, NC and nearest regions. Business Broker, Business Owner, Real Estate Broker, Community VolunteerA business management degree from Wake Forest University provided Heather with accounting skills and consulting knowledge. She was recruited as a fast food restaurant manager for a national franchise right out of college and then worked for seven years in the accounting departments for two software development companies. While she loved the corporate work and learned many business skills, her heart belongs to small businesses. ;For nearly 15 years, Heather served as chief financial officer for Holding Oil & Gas, Inc., a family-owned home-heating fuel distributor based in Wake Forest with more than $2 million in annual revenue. Managing an operation of ten employees, keeping eight trucks running, and selling thousands of gallons of inventory annually, she gained an appreciation of the hard work required to be your own boss. ;Heather now provides consulting and accounting services through Affinity Business Resources, a company she founded as an outsource option for business owners for the part of their operations that is not their passion. She became a licensed real-estate broker to add to her portfolio of skills.Heather’s volunteer involvement in the community has built a strong network of business owners and leaders. In 2012, she was named Wake Forest Citizen of the Year by the Wake Forest Community Council for her volunteer involvement with the Wake Forest College Birthplace Museum Board, the Anthony J. Trentini Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Koinonia Community Charitable Foundation and the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce Leadership programs. As chairwoman of the local YMCA’s Annual Campaign since 2013, Heather’s helped raise $1.5 million for programs that serve the greater Wake Forest community. The Y programs have inspired her to become more involved with the youth in the community. Heather’s passion for making a difference in someone’s life drives her commitment to everything she does.
