Brian Copeland is a Atlanta business broker of the well-known Sunbelt Business Brokers business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Atlanta, GA and nearest regions. Brian is a management executive with over 25 years of experience in the Atlanta technology workplace. He began his career at Hayes Microcomputer Products, a pioneer of the Atlanta high tech community in the 1980’s as a software engineer and later a project manager. He later became a Principal at Whittman-Hart, which became the world’s largest pure-play Internet consulting firm in 2000 and has most recently held executive-level positions at the Georgia Technology Authority and Cox Communications. In 2000, Brian co-founded Lancope, a cyber security company that was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2016 for $453M. Brian holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic and an M.B.A. from Georgia State. He has also maintained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 1999 and is a veteran of the United States Army. Brian currently serves as an M&A Advisor for Sunbelt Atlanta specializing in the mergers and acquisitions of technology companies valued between $1M and $25M. When Brian is not assisting business owners achieve their hopes and dreams he serves as a Cub Scout Cubmaster as well as a leader in various ministries at North Point Community Church. Brian lives in Roswell, Georgia with his wife and children.
