Neal has deep experience in M&A and entrepreneurship. His breadth of experiences help him provide best-in-class advice to clients as they undertake business sales and/or purchases. His most recent professional experience includes corporate development at a private equity-owned education company. In this role, he sources and executes acquisitions for the company. Prior to his private equity corporate development career, Neal was an investment banker with Lazard, Houlihan Lokey, and JPMorgan where he worked on complex M&A and capital raising deals in the Technology, Industrials, and Real Estate sectors. Neal was also a Senior Instructor with a top financial training provider where he led financial modeling and valuation seminars at the undergraduate, business school, and corporate levels. He’s taught at leading business schools, including MIT Sloan, London Business School, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Lastly, Neal co-founded a global education technology company called Cognitir, which helps business and finance professionals obtain in-demand tech skills through live in-person, live virtual, and self-paced online courses. The company is still successfully operating today. Neal has an MBA from London Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
