Jim Orth is a Riverside business broker of the well-known Sunbelt - Riverside County business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Riverside, CA and nearest regions. Jim began his career with IBM, spent seven years in various marketing and geographic industry management positions, then moved to the Oil & Gas industry where he became an officer of a small exploration and drilling company. He subsequently co-founded an investment banking company, a securities broker-dealer and a real estate brokerage firm. He specialized in the capitalization, acquisition and operations of several business entities, some of which he continues to serve as a board member. Jim also has an extensive background in the real estate industry, most recently, as a mortgage banker with an institutional lender. He has provided financing for residential real estate borrowers, homebuilders and commercial properties and businesses. He is also a principal and co-founder of a firm that is involved in the development of senior affordable housing. In addition to serving on the boards of two emerging-growth, technology-based companies, he is also a founding partner of The Resource Board, a mentoring entity for emerging growth businesses. Jim earned a B.S. from the University of Wyoming with a triple major in Economics, Mathematics-Statistics, and French, then continued his education with graduate work in the MBA program at the University of Colorado, specializing in Finance.
