Simon brings over 15 years of management, investment banking, and transactional experience to Murphy. He leverages this experience and the vast resources of Murphy Business to help small to middle-market business owners prepare their companies for sale, execute their transactional strategies, grow or realign their existing business, and help buyers find businesses that meet their strategic and financial needs. Prior to joining Murphy, Simon was Vice President at the investment bank Credit Suisse where he worked with C-suite executives at Hedge Funds and Asset Managers to structure large and complex transactions across Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodity Markets. Over the span of his career at Credit Suisse he was involved in hundreds of transactions totaling well over $100 Billion. He held the FINRA Series 7, 32, and 63 licenses. Simon started his career in London at Credit Suisse Europe where he managed a global derivatives order book during European hours. He was asked by Credit Suisse to relocate to New York in 2010. He moved to North Carolina in 2018. He received a Bachelor with Honors in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management from Nottingham University (UK) and a Master of Science in Business Finance and Management from the University of York (UK).
