Joseph Kerr is a business broker of the well-known Calder Associates business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in NJ and nearest regions. After 30 years in the Insurance Industry, I went into the Business Brokerage industry as a partner in Metro Business Brokers in Cape May County in 1999. I also had a Real Estate Sales license and Real Estate Appraiser license. In 2004 I became a Certified Machinery Equipment Appraiser. In 2004 I joined Calder Associates as Director Business Sales. I earned a CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) through the IBBA. Over the last 17 years, I have represented many businesses on the market and completed hundreds of appraisal. This experience has put me in a position of great understanding of the complexities required to take a business to the market and successfully execute a sale. Marketing, promotion, financing, attorneys, landlords and leases, inventory, letters of intent, contracts and the buyers and sellers needs and wants are just some of the issues I have dealt with and understand. Successful business transactions are complex and require experience and good relationships with buyers and sellers whether dealing with a small retail business or a roll up or a recap for a multi-national company.
