Mark Pothier is a Halifax business broker of the well-known Murphy Business&Financial Corporation business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Halifax, and nearest regions. I’m a seasoned commercial real estate executive with over 25 years of industry experience. I cut my teeth on the management side evolving into the brokerage side, where as the managing broker, I focus the majority of my energy. ; I’ve worn many hats through those years, commercial property management, project management, leasehold construction, commercial sales and leasing in a privately held firm in Halifax. As the owner operator and broker of a commercial real estate firm I have had to work closely with a broad spectrum of people and navigate numerous challenges, managing a portfolio of over a million square feet. ; A native Nova Scotian I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, a Certified Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA, all of which seems a lifetime ago. I shifted my focus from real property to business brokerage, drawing upon personal experience as a long time broker and business owner, to help other business owners realize the best exit strategy. ; I take pleasure in learning how people make their living, making new acquaintances, and talking sports.
