Jerry Wortman is a Omaha business broker of the well-known Sunbelt - Nebraska business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Omaha, NE and nearest regions. Throughout the years, I have truly enjoyed living and working in central Nebraska. I received my degree in business from Kearney State College (University of Nebraska-Kearney). After college, I joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) serving as a commissioned bank examiner for seven years. I left the FDIC to begin work at a local community bank and within two years was promoted to bank president. I served in that capacity for 25 years. During my years at the bank, I built key relationships with many folks in the surrounding communities. I have met with hundreds of business owners and I am intimately familiar with a wide variety of lending vehicles, including Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. During my tenure at the bank, I served on the board of the Nebraska Bankers Association. Also, I am a licensed real estate appraiser.Beyond my banking experience, I have been involved in a variety of business and community organizations such as the local Chamber of Commerce, the Sherman County Economic Development Board, and the Valley County Health System Foundation.I am delighted to join Sunbelt of Nebraska serving sellers and buyers of small businesses in the central portion of our great state.
