About
Larry Zigerelli is a Business Intermediary serving the Louisiana areas of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette. Larry has over 30 years of senior management experience in large corporate and smaller private equity companies, both domestically and internationally, in the consumer products and retail industries. For large companies, he was Vice President Procter and Gamble Latin America, Executive Vice President CVS Pharmacy, and President Meijer Supercenter (original supercenter). For the last 15 years, he has been Pres/CEO of several diverse private companies. Larry has managed all sizes of organizations, from 30 people to 100,000. Larry is passionate about his employees, evidenced by a recent employee opinion survey with an overall rating of 95 % out of 100 on his vision, leadership, employee job likeability and desire to stay with the company, etc. He is also deeply consumer-focused. His recent furniture company received a high customer Net Promoter likeability score equal to the top-rated retailers in any industry. Throughout his career, he has had extensive experience in working with all areas of the business including Finance and Accounting, Legal, HR, Sales, Store Management, Vendors, Consumers, Marketing, Advertising, Social media, IT, Plant Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Governments, Communities, and substantial Real Estate experience. Larry has led several acquisitions on both the buy and sell-side, and he has been involved in integrating mergers. In early 2010, he founded, co-owned and was Pres/CEO of a retail eyewear company (30 employees), selling his shares in late 2012 when he became Pres/CEO of a regional Retail Furniture Chain (FFO Home) located in Arkansas. During his 7 year tenure with FFO Home that was almost bankrupt when he joined, Larry led a turnaround (one of several in his career), and FFO Home became the fastest-growing furniture retailer in the country. The private equity firm that originally recruited Larry profited very well when he sold the company to a new private equity firm, and he continued to run the company for several more years. Larry recently moved to Louisiana to join Murphy. Larry has always been involved serving non-profit (e.g. St Judes) and for-profit organizations. In the smaller for-profit business area, examples are being a Board Member of True Valley Hardware and the National Home Furnishings Association. Most of the members of these two associations either own a single store or several stores. Larry is a graduate of Yale University with a BS in Administrative Science, where he was an ALL-Ivy League basketball player. In his spare time, Larry and his wife Tracy enjoy traveling, restaurants, and sightseeing. Larry has 3 children in their 20's, twin boys who work on Wall Street, and a daughter in Harvard Law School.
