David supports entrepreneurial clients throughout the country and focuses on the business transfer industry, providing support to small business owners in business transactions, business structuring, tax planning, and business exit planning. He works with sellers, buyers, and their various advisors, intermediaries, accountants, and attorneys to manage the unique financial, tax planning, and procedural matters associated with buying and selling a business. David has over 18 years in selling, buying, owning, and operating small and mid-sized businesses, working as a broker, proprietor, manager, consultant, and investor. His breadth of experience, across the country and worldwide, both strategic and hands-on, in operations and finance, has given him a keen perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented to small and mid-sized businesses and the issues faced by their owners in seeking to convert the equity in their companies into cash and other investments. He is exceptionally skilled in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems arising in business sale and financing transactions. In addition to his day-to-day activities as a Business Broker, David is an active commercial real estate investor focusing on boutique hotels.
