Stan Padgett, JD is a Clearwater business broker of the well-known Murphy Business&Financial Corporation business brokerage company who helps people sell their business in Clearwater, FL and nearest regions. Stan Padgett graduated with honors from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina, in May of 1982, and became a member of the Florida Bar in October of 1982. For more than 30 years, he has handled civil litigation matters on behalf of businesses and creditors in state and Federal courts throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Padgett is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second, Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and all Florida state courts. In 1992, he achieved an AV rating, the highest rating awarded by Martindale Hubbell, a national peer review rating service that relies on the opinions of judges and other lawyers, and has maintained an AV rating since that time.For the last several years, he has concentrated on assisting business owners and wealthy individuals, including physicians, on business, asset protection and exit strategy issues. In those capacities, he has obtained insurance, securities and real estate licenses.
